Alameda Health System (AHS) residents, providers, Bridge clinic substance use navigators and the Latinx Affinity Group, offered free health screenings, substance use education, health information, and community resources to attendees as part of our commitment to community well-being. These screenings included vital checks such as blood pressure, and glucose levels, helping participants stay on top of their health during the celebration. By providing these services in a festive and culturally meaningful setting, AHS aims to make health care more accessible while fostering a sense of care and support. AHS community engagement efforts not only promotes wellness but also strengthens the connection between healthcare providers and the community, ensuring that everyone has the resources to lead healthier lives.
