Hayward, CA, April 9, 2026 – Today, Alameda Health System (AHS) and Stanford Health Care announced a strategic collaboration to expand access to specialized care in the East Bay at an April 9 event held at St. Rose Hospital, an AHS affiliate, in Hayward.
A new partnership will allow St. Rose Hospital, located in the southern part of the city, to keep its doors open while strengthening its services. The effort builds on the hospital’s role as a vital resource for the approximately 400,000 diverse residents of Central and Southern Alameda County, while also advancing Stanford Health Care’s commitment to providing high-quality, specialized care in the communities where patients live.
