In 2025, in partnership with the American Red Cross, Alameda and San Leandro Hospitals hosted a series of successful community blood drives and the impact was truly lifesaving.
Across both locations, more than 225 units of blood were collected. Those donations have the potential to help save up to 672 lives, supporting patients in need of critical care, surgeries, trauma services and ongoing treatments.
These blood drives reflect the generosity of our community and our employees. Every unit donated is an act of compassion, neighbors helping neighbors when it matters most.
