AHS Medical Staff consists of physicians, podiatrists, dentists, and psychologists.
The AHS medical staff leadership is composed of the medical staff officers (Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, Secretary and Treasurer, Immediate Past Chief of Staff), 11 Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, Site Directors and Eight Members-at-Large of the Medical Staff. The medical staff officers are elected positions with a two-year term of office.

Alameda Hospital Medical Staff consists of physicians, podiatrists, dentists, and psychologists. Medical Staff Services
Our team coordinates the credentialing and privileging process for the two independent Medical Staffs including the processes for initial appointments, reappointments, privilege requests, onboarding and health plan enrollment. Our dedicated credentialing team supports the Alameda Health System and Alameda Hospital Medical Staffs which is approximately over 1000 medical staff members and Allied Health providers collectively.
Medical Staff Services follows the governance structure of the AHS and AH Medical Staff as well as credentialing standards mandated by the federal government, state government, and regulatory agencies and as determined by the medical staff bylaws, rules, and regulations.

EpicCare Link is a secure online tool for connecting private and referring physicians and their staff to Alameda Health System.
