Alameda Health System was honored to have hosted Alameda County Supervisor Lena Tam and her staff for a tour of San Leandro Hospital in early January.
The tour was an opportunity to foster our relationship with the Supervisor and for AHS staff to showcase their facility and the myriad of services they provide. The Supervisor shared she enjoyed connecting with staff and commended their commitment to serving all.
The tour was coordinated by the Public Affairs and Community Engagement (PACE) department that leads the government and legislative affairs function at AHS. One of their many tasks includes nurturing relationships with elected officials and advocating for AHS to continue to fulfill their mission of Caring, Healing, Teaching, and Serving All.
