Oakland, Calif. — August 13, 2018—Alameda Health System CEO Delvecchio Finley was recently elected to the American Hospital Association Board of Trustees for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2019. The AHA Board of Trustees is the organization’s highest policy-making body and has ultimate authority for the governance and management of its direction and finances.

Finley was selected for his extensive experience in health care management with well-regarded institutions including Harbor-UCLA Medical Center; University of California, San Francisco; San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center; and Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center.

He is also a leader for several local and national health care organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems, the California Hospital Association, and he is a member of the AHA’s Section for Metropolitan Hospitals Council.

The AHA is a not-for-profit member organization of national health care providers that serves as an advocate on issues related to improving the health of their communities.
