Imaging & Radiology Dept:

Our skilled doctors treat infections of all kinds, including HIV and COVID. They also help with prevention of infections in our hospitals and our community.
Our infusion services help patients coping with cancer and other illnesses. We are here to provide the best care including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and other therapies.
Our lab staff provide services patients and their doctors need to understand their health. With a doctor’s order, patients can get services to help with a diagnosis or monitor illnesses. We also provide routine mammograms. With a doctor’s order, patients can get many different lab services at a convenient location.

Lab Services Dept:

A mammogram is an image of your breast that doctors use to monitor breast health. Our team uses the newest tools to monitor breast health at all stages of life.

Imaging & Radiology Dept:

We all want to be our best selves. Sometimes that comes with challenges. We support patients in making healthy choices and reaching their goals. We work together on a plan that meets our patient’s nutritional needs and guides them with compassion toward a healthier body.
After an illness or injury, patients may need special help to recover or they may need tools to cope with a disability. Our experts will carefully guide patients to improve function and well-being. We help patients recover from accidents and illness. Our team provides exercises to help patients get stronger and back to their daily activities.

Physical Therapy Dept:

We care for injuries and diseases of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and nerves. We use tools like X-ray and MRI for diagnosis. We then work with patients on a treatment plan to help with health and function.
We help patients manage pain of all kinds to improve health and quality of life. Doctors can refer patients to our clinic for conditions like migraine, back, neck, and joint pain, and many other concerns.
Our pharmacists are experts on the medicines and devices patients and their families need to cope with many health concerns. They can also provide guidance on how to take medications and they interact with doctors to be sure patients are on the right track.
If patients need continued medical care after they leave the hospital, we can help. “Post-acute” care means services that support your recovery. These services can happen in your home or in a skilled nursing facility.
Our team can help with lung and breathing problems of all kinds. We care for patients with emergency and ongoing conditions—like heart attack, stroke, asthma, bronchitis, COPD, emphysema, and sleep apnea.
Our Senior Health program provides education, support, and care in older age. We focus on the needs of our patients and their families with many types of support. Our Fall Prevention Center helps with skills and ideas to prevent falls.
A skilled nursing facility is for patients who need a lot of help after an illness or injury. We provide many types of services while patients stay with us. Our Acute Rehabilitation Hospital treats most of Alameda County’s traumatic brain injuries.
Our team helps you cope with social, emotional, and health problems. We also give you community service referrals and offer special chaplain counseling for all faiths and beliefs.

Our speech therapists help people of all ages with speech and language disorders. We will work together on exercises and skills to use after a sickness or accident.

Physical Therapy Dept:

Our Certified Primary Stroke Center helps patients recover after a stroke. AHS has advanced certification, meaning our stroke care meets the highest standards.
Subacute care is for patients who need special, long-term services but do not need to stay in the hospital. Our care team will work with patients on the best personal care plan.
Our surgeons perform all kinds of procedures to meet patient needs. Patients choosing an elective procedure or who need a complex or emergency operation, are in good hands.
