Flu Clinic at Alameda Hospital – 2020
Free Community Flu Shot Clinic at Alameda Hospital
Alameda Health System is hosting a free community flu shot clinic on Saturday, October 23, 9 a.m. – noon, while supplies last at Alameda Hospital
Each fall the flu returns to our community and brings with it the fever, cough, sore throat, congestion, muscle aches and fatigue that many of us dread. Flu symptoms can be mild and last only a few days or they can be severe and hang around for weeks. For people with r underlying health conditions like asthma or diabetes, the flu can make illnesses worse. Even in otherwise healthy people, the flu can lead to complications like ear infections, pneumonia, and even death. Getting a flu vaccine now can ensure we are protected during the holidays and through the flu season.
The free flu vaccine clinic will be held outdoors in the parking lot of Alameda Hospital. Stop by, get your vaccine and help to keep our community healthy! Please share the flyer with your family and friends and if you’d like to volunteer, email PACE@alamedahealthsystem.org. Volunteers will receive an AHS baseball cap and t-shirt.
