In recognition of Nurses, Skilled Nursing Care and Hospital Week, AHS wants to acknowledge your hard work and dedication. From day one of the pandemic, you stood on the front lines of AHS’s response to COVID-19 and boldly navigated the unknown threat to yourselves, families, colleagues, patients and residents. You faced extraordinary challenges, but you adapted and excelled amidst a rapidly evolving landscape.
Now more than two years later, your resilience shines through your shared strength of purpose and unwavering commitment to the health and wellness of all those whom we serve. For our patients, residents and the community, you are the heart of health care at AHS and we recognize the invaluable role you play in providing compassionate, culturally competent and quality care.
Because of your contributions and collaborative spirit, we have achieved important milestones including the development of a budget surplus thanks to organizational improvements and innovations in patient care services that you all lead.
Finally, the completion of the 2022 SCORE Survey resulted in outstanding participation rates with 60 departments achieving a 100% response rate and Highland Hospital’s response rate jumped from 68% in 2021 to an exceptional 96% this year. Overall, the SCORE participation rates illustrate your dedication to making AHS a great place to work and to receive care.
