Back in December we announced that Dr. Mini Swift was selected to be in the inaugural class of the Essential Women’s Leadership Academy where she will be completing a one-year leadership training program, created by the Essential Hospitals Institute.
Update! Our own Bonnie Panlasigui, CAO of Alameda Hospital will be serving the Academy as a mentor! Ms. Panlasigui will work collaboratively with candidates (mentees) via coaching to develop the candidates career path. This work will include monthly check-in calls and an in-person shadowing day at Alameda Hospital.
The program is designed to empower women executives to serve in executive leadership roles in health care organizations in order to decrease the gender gap in executive leadership (currently a mere 4% of health care organizations are led by female CEOs), and address the challenges of the underserved.
Thank you Ms. Panlasigui for your service to a great program!
